Decals / Screen
Screen-printing is a process by which thick, highly pigmented inks are squeezed through desired openings in a taut fabric on to a substrate. This process is favored over other printing processes for the following benefits:
- Fade Resistance - Screen-printed products can last up to five to seven years when exposed to weather and direct sunlight.
- Abrasion and Solvent Resistance - Screen-printed products are much more resistant to abrasion and solvents than other printing processes.
- Printing on Unusual Substrates - A more wide variety of substrates can be screen-printed than other printing processes. These substrates include metal, steel, plastic, cloth and most thick and/or rigid substrates.
- Rich and Glossy Finish - Screen-print inks result in a unique glossy, rich look.
- Opacity - Screen inks are some of the most highly pigmented inks printed.
