Quality
ALG implemented its quality system in 1994 with the direction and assistance of its largest vendor, Avery Denison. Since 1994, ALG has implemented over 25 quality improvements each year. ALG documents its processes with detailed SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) in its 11 departments and utilizes Key Quality Measures to monitor the performance of its operations.
ALG Quality System begins with these five questions:
- Does it meet customer specifications?
- Does it meet ALG specifications?
- Would I buy it?
- Would I stand next to the customer while they reviewed it?
- Would I be willing to be evaluated based on this alone?
ALG welcomes customer site surveys. Since 1994, ALG has been audited and approved by over 25 different manufacturers. Customers who have conducted audits include Sanmina-SCI, JVC Disc America, Manchester Tank, Dunlop Tire Corporation, United Parcel Service, Thermo King, and Chrysler Corporation.
